Sephora VIB Sale

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Sephora’s VIB sale started yesterday so I figured I would share some of my favorite products as well as some products that I purchased from the sale. Before I begin, if you aren’t familiar with the sale, it is available to everyone if you are signed up for their reward program (which is FREE!). There are three tiers of memberships: VIB Rouge, who will get 20% off now until May 6th, VIB, who will get 15% off May 2nd-6th, and regular Beauty Insiders, who will get 10% off May 2nd - 6th. As many of you probably know, Sephora doesn’t offer coupons and rarely (only about 3-4 times annually) offer any type of sale or promotion. So now is the PERFECT time to stock up on items or splurge on something you may have had your eye on. Now that we’ve covered the logistics, lets get started.

First things first are a list of my top 10 beauty products:

  1. Josie Maran Cleansing Oil. I use this every night to wash off my makeup before I go in with a cleanser. I love it because it removes all of my makeup without leaving any type of residue. It’s light, smells good, and does the job. Need I say more?

  2. Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil (I use shade 3). I personally like this pencil better then the Anastasia Beverly Hills pencils (I’ve tried them all, as well as her pomade). I feel like it goes on more natural and the pencil itself is softer, making it easier to make a more natural line.

  3. Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector. (I currently am using the light to medium color but just purchased medium to deep for Summer when I’m tan.) This product has literally been a game changer for me. I use it EVERYDAY - even on days that I don’t wear any makeup ill put a tiny little dab under my eyes and I immediately look more awake. I am OBSESSED. If there was one product that I would recommend this would be it.

  4. BECCA X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette. I’m normally not a fan of face palettes because I feel like there’s always so much wasted product. I’m more particular about face palettes then eye palettes because I feel like everyone’s complexion varies so much that it’s hard to find one that will work on most people. However this one is different - the bronzer is universal and both the blush/highlight colors are so pretty and neutral that they will flatter ANY shade. The only color I’m not particularly a fan of is the bright pink blush but it’s one of the smaller of the 3 pans so if it goes unused it’s okay. This palette will give anyone a springy, flushed glow.

  5. The Chocolate Bar Eyeshade Palette by Too Faced. This palette is so universal - it has both warm and cool neutral shades as well as beautiful shimmers that will work well on anyone. Anytime I’m asked to do someone’s makeup I always will bring this palette with me because I know regardless of their skin tone I will find some shadows to work with.

  6. iT Cosmetics CC Cream. I typically like to stay away from heavy foundations because I feel like they age my skin so much when I have them on. I like a more natural finish, which is why I love this one. This is definitely heavier than any of my other bb or cc creams, however the finish is so natural that it doesn’t bother me. I also love how moisturizing this is so I never feel “cake” when I have it on.

  7. Ouai Volumizing Hair Spray. This stuff adds so much texture it’s insane. I love it because it does this without making my hair feel crunchy like most hairsprays do. Go buy it. Now.

  8. LAWLESS Soft Matte Liquid Lipstick. I love this lipstick because while it is a matte liquid lip it isn’t drying like most tend to me. There’s also a ton of beautiful shades.

  9. Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask. This is a little pricy so now is the time to purchase it if you’ve been eyeing it, which you should be. This has improved my skin SO MUCH with just a few uses. It completely changed my skin’s texture while helping fine lines and dullness. The best part is that I use it minimally - usually only 1-2 times a week so it’s definitely worth every penny.

  10. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask. I’m sure you’ve heard of this mask if you’re active on any social media outlet, however if you haven’t let me tell you a little about it. It is literally moisture in a tube and it clenches my face every time i use it. I use it at night when my skin needs a little TLC and I slop it on and go to sleep. It can also be used in the morning if your skin is a little dry and can use a little pick me up (it’s great after a night of drinks when your skin might be a little dehydrated). It doesn’t make your skin greasy and it smells wonderful!

Now for the fun part (for me): what I’m purchasing for the sale - reviews to follow.

  1. Nars Endless Orgasm Palette. This palette just screamed “summer glow” to me. I love Orgasm blush so naturally I need to try a palette made up of several orgasms :)

  2. COVER FX Illuminating Setting Spray. I’m a huge fan of facial sprays and the fact that this one was illuminating sold me. I love a good dewy skin look.

  3. Ciate London Dewy Stix. Are we sensing a theme here? Clearly I’m in summer skin mode and want it all.

  4. bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer. I hate wearing foundation of anything heavy on my skin in the summer so this was obvious. Plus it has SPF.

  5. Summer Fridays R+R Mask. I clearly liked the Jetlag mask so much that at this point I think I need anything that they come out with.
