Our Week With Toyota

So as most of you know I partnered up with Toyota and was invited to their drive in movie night featuring Toy Story 4. I was also given a Highlander to use for a week and a half (thank you holiday weekend!).

It was so fun going to see a movie at a drive-in; I hadn’t been to one since high school and my kids had never been to one. It was even better having our Highlander to view the movie from. We pushed the third row seats down and posted up in the trunk and it provided all the space we needed! Toyota also hooked us up with prime parking and all the popcorn we could eat so we were all set! Although Jax still has yet to sit completely through an entire movie, it didn’t seem so bad since he had more room to move around in. Jax is completely obsessed with the car and the wireless entry/trunk. So that kept him more than entertained when he wasn’t watching the movie. The event was the perfect start to our weekend!

Now…let’s talk about the car for a minute because even though the movie was fun, the Highlander is what has been given all the praise this past week. It has EVERYTHING you could ever want/need in a car - especially if you’re a parent looking for an SUV. It’s roomy, has rear heating/cooling and has third row seats, which came in handy on the days that we had a friend with us for the day. The third row is super easy to maneuver so whenever we needed extra trunk space (for viewing fireworks) we were easily able to put the seats down.

Overall if you’re looking for a mid-size SUV that drives like a car, the Toyota Highlander is the one for you. It’s handles well, is extremely safe if you have kiddos and rides like a luxury car without the luxury car price tag. John is obsessed with it, and we’re even considered trading in our car for a Highlander. It was a great week with it and we were all sad to see it go. Thanks again Toyota - we already miss you!
